Job Description:

The Remedy System Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support in requirements development, concept development, research and development, integration and test, and performance analysis on DHS EINSTEIN Programs. The candidate will serve as a contributor in the development of remedy solutions which require regular use of ingenuity and creativity with a high degree of technical sophistication. The candidate will function with general direction, and will have frequent inter-organizational interactions. The candidate will have frequent use and application of technical standards, principals, theories, concepts, and techniques. Specific responsibilities include: - Understands ITIL best practices and experience in implementing the framework - Experience in surveying the customer to analyze user requirements and provide recommendations to ensure adherence to best practices - Expert knowledge of administering and programming with BMC Remedy ARS - Experienced in configuration and administration of ITSM suite - Development and implementation of modifications to the Remedy-proprietary configuration management database (CMDB). - Responsible for upgrading, installing, and configuring the BMC Remedy ARS, Mid Tier, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Asset, SLM, Service Request, Dashboard and Analytics, and Knowledge Management - Provide application support including developing technical documentation, assisting with the development of end-user documentation, interfacing with application owners and the IT Help Desk, and properly tracking all support efforts - Responsible for integrating ARS with a database engine and email engine - Develop and administrator BMC Remedy ARS applications and implementation of new functionality including forms, workflow, alerts, filters, escalations, menus, and other related components - Create process, data and workflow models for integration with third party components - Maintain existing business processes and implementing the new processes using Remedy ARS and other components - Support the conduct of Integration & Test activities, including integration of software and hardware at the system level, conduct of tests and evaluation of test results, and performance of system-level requirements verification. - Adhere to DHS development / architecture standards and methodologies - Excellent oral and written communication Secret

Job Requirements:

Masters with min 3 years equivalent experience or Bachelors with min 5 years equivalent experience. Active Secret clearance required. Clearable for a TS/SCI clearance. Experience in Systems Engineering roles on Programs of high degree of complexity. Required Key Skills: Remedy Application Development Application Integration Concept Development Critical Infrastructure Analysis Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
